On the F1 tracks, Lewis has had a very successful career. He holds the record for most points accumulated over his career with his 4363.5 (before completion of the 2022 Mexican GP). The Briton completely dominated the circuits between 2014 and 2020, winning all but one WDCs during that time (Nico Rosberg won in 2016).

Off the tracks, he received a knighthood for his excellence in motorsports and his philanthropic work over the years. He has donated vast amounts of his wealth and fortune to social causes. His social media following shows how much people adore him. He has 30.3 million followers on his Instagram and 7.8 million on his Twitter account.

All in all, he is among the most liked drivers on the race tracks. Prior to Sunday’s Mexican GP, he was speaking to an interviewer, Pía Ramos, and her response shows how enchanted she was by the Brit.

Lewis said to her, “Get out of here, you look amazing.” The interviewer replied with a “you look incredible too,” to which Lewis said, “Our outfits are the same color” and went on to give her a side-hug.

Her eyes widened with almost child-like glee. She was seen using her interview cards to fan herself!
