That is mainly because F1 is in the golden era of its popularity thanks to the age of the internet. More than the internet, it’s the massive influx of content consumption. To meet the demands, streaming services like Netflix supplied content, and Drive to Survive was born.

The Netflix show skyrocketed the sport’s popularity globally. Born out of this popularity, was the need to look back at the sport’s rich history to drive worthy content. Let us tell you, there are a lot of stories to tell spread over the 70 years of Formula 1. This is exactly why the circus is generating a lot of interest from Hollywood and mainstream media.

Interested parties don’t even need to go too far back in time to find a juicy and justifiable story to recreate. We’re already aware of Lewis Hamilton’s Apple project starring Brad Pitt. We’re not sure about the basis of the movie.

However, all fans would love to see a movie about the rivalry between Mercedes men Hamilton and former teammate Nico Rosberg. A dramatized version of the 2016 season? Yes, please!

Pine in his recent look with his luscious golden locks has an uncanny resemblance to the German. The uncanny resemblance has gotten the fans excited, as reactions pour on Twitter.
