Verstappen showcased his competitiveness with a  rant posted on Reddit after the frustrating outcome. He said, “They call it amazingly bad luck. Well, this is just incompetence. They can’t even control their own game. This is already the third time this has happened to me now that get kicked off the game while doing this race. Also, the last time I’m ever participating.”

“What’s the point? You prepare five months to prepare for this championship. You lead the championship, you try to win this race which you prepare for two months and they handle it like this. Honestly, it’s a joke, you cannot call this an event. A clown show.” 

“Well, I’m going to uninstall the game. And I hope everyone uninstalls the game,” Verstappen frustratingly added.

Verstappen clearly likes to give it his all in everything he does. However, we can understand his frustration as sim racing is more than a hobby for the Red Bull man.

Speaking to CarNext as reported by FormulaPassion.it, Verstappen said, “It keeps me ready, and allows me to better analyze the configuration as well. I continue to test myself, especially against these drivers who are very fast.”
