“In any case, I never give up hope. I’m not the first driver on the team to report the limitations with the car that I felt. I’m not saying that some of that is in the DNA of the car because a car changes over time,” said Daniel.

He also revealed that there might have been some limitations to the McLaren 2021 car that was plaguing the team. ” But from what I understand, McLaren has been dealing with it for quite some time. It may be more talked about than in the past. I think it could be a step in the right direction.

But will my problems suddenly be gone? I don’t expect that. If it does, I think I’ll adapt to the rules with my natural driving style. But I want to be prepared if that doesn’t happen. Getting on better and better with the 2021 car should help me with the next car as well.” said Ricciardo.

Let’s hope that the honey badger doesn’t face as much struggle at the start of the 2022 season. He would look to have a cleaner start and showcase his true talent in the car.
