There have been reports that have suggested that Ferrari will debut upgrades with Charles Leclerc this weekend. The Monegasque will have a brand new power unit at the back of his F1-75.

According to the reports, the new PU will utilize more thrust mapping and will adopt a new MGK-U in the hybrid system to produce more power.

The team will also debut some aero upgrades with a modified version of the F1-75’s skate. The skate will assist in significantly reducing the phenomenon of porpoising, which has majorly affected cars under the new regulations.

The team has also stated that this decision is purely a strategic call and has no connection to the alarms that Carlos Sainz‘s PU gave in Imola.
