The defeat was exceptionally tough on the 7-time world champion, losing out on the record-breaking 8th drivers’ title in such a fashion.

After Abu Dhabi, the Briton wanted to spend some time away from the sport. However, he is back in the thick of it now. In a recent tweet, he appreciates his fans for helping him on his way back to F1.

His fans showed their support by replying to the tweet. One fan said “Good luck for this weekend and for the season ahead. You can always rely on the support of #TeamLH“

Another fan said, “We’re always going to keep supporting you and sending positivity your way!”.
