According to the latest reports, the 2020 PC title Age Of Empires 4 may soon receive an Xbox port. The PC-based real-time strategy making title is expected to witness a release on Microsoft’s popular console.

The big news comes from the recent tweet of a Twitter account named Aggiornamenti Lumia. They mentioned that apparently, Age Of Empires 4 is currently being tested for Xbox. Which means that fans may receive it on the console, apart from PC, in the coming months. Although the development yet to be confirmed by any official source.

Age Of Empires 4 on Xbox: Will it arrive on the console?
Upon its launch last year, the strategy-making game received praise from the majority of review portals. The PC version of Age Of Empires 4 currently has a solid score of 81 on Metacritic, based on 82 critic reviews, at the time of writing. So it makes sense for the developer team to bring the title on Xbox as well.
It seems like the Xbox lovers of Age Of Empires 4 may soon receive a massive update from the makers of the game. Based on the tweet above, the PC title is going through internal testing right now, to eventually get a port for Xbox.
While Microsoft hasn’t yet confirmed the news, the possibility might become a reality soon. Because a similar thing happened recently with another hit game, Microsoft Flight Simulator. It became a roaring success when it arrived on the Xbox console in 2021.
From the perspective of Microsoft, it makes sense to give Age Of Empires 4 a port for Xbox. Simply because it’s an impressive game and console players may give it the same love that they gave to Flight Simulator. But things also depend on Sega, the parent company of Relic, the developer of Age Of Empires 4.
However, it seems like the partnership between Sega and Microsoft will work out quite positively. Especially regarding the future of Age Of Empires 4 and its Xbox release probabilities.
