The popular political streamer Hasan Piker has been trailing the activities of the billionaire Elon Musk. Piker has been one of the prominent figures who have called out Musk during the recent infamous steps that he took. Especially in regard to the large-scale layover that Twitter witnessed.

Now Piker is back again criticizing the current Twitter CEO for being biased on the popular microblogging platform.

Hasan Piker criticizes Elon Musk for supposed Twitter Standards

Hasan Piker continues his verbal onslaught on Twitter CEO Elon Musk. The current criticism is on the supposed biased behavior that the microblogging platform follows. That is, the retweeting feature on the social site seems to warn people on sharing particular things. According to HasanAbi, this is especially seen in the case of Tesla.

When someone shares anything negative about Musk’s Tesla brand, the exposure to those posts automatically gets reduced. That is, according to Piker’s observation, Twitter restricts the number of likes and retweets on posts that portray the Tesla brand in a negative light. To substantiate his statements, the streamer pointed out the condition of an article that was calling out Tesla.

The article was sort of criticizing the popular EV brand and calling out it for being insufficient in the Chinese market. And Hasan Piker pointed out that this article, which later was shared through Twitter, was faced with supposed biased backlash. The post had warnings before getting retweeted, and a message was shown to people who tried to do so. There was even a warning against liking the tweet.

Many express similar thoughts about the issue

Following Hasan’s tweet many took to their Twitter accounts to share their similar thoughts about the issue. Moreover, Hasan himself commented on his post later, stating that people were restricted from even retweeting his post.

This argument was supported by popular Esports figures like SypherPK. They were also pointing out that Hasan’s Tweet also is sort of flagged by the microblogging platform.

Hasan also faced criticism as well from some of the users. They were calling out Piker for not fact-checking the statements he made.

But most users were on Hasan’s side, talking about how his post was facing the very thing he mentioned.

It would be interesting to see Elon Musk himself giving a counter-statement regarding all these debacles. But that happening is highly unlikely. Especially as Musk has not yet given any responses to Piker’s earlier criticisms.
