Following Pokimane saying she would not join Twitch even if she was offered a $10 million deal, Valkyrae revealed part of a conversation between her and Pokimane. After viewing the clip, xQc looked visibly upset and annoyed over what the two said.

Valkyrae spoke of a conversation she had with Pokimane, where the latter expressed surprise at Valkyrae’s congratulatory tweet for xQc penning the deal. What she was alluding to was Pokimane’s stance against Kick, specifically its gambling and cryptocurrency aspects. Pokimane said it would be against her ethics and morals if she were to sign with Kick, no matter the amount.

As a result, Valkyrae explained to viewers her own stance on the matter. “It is kind of a weird situation because the platform is run by crypto-gambling. It promotes crypto-gambling, which is the bad part. Long story short, I like gambling personally and it’s fine to do if you’re of age, you can afford to lose. The part that gets messy is if you are streaming it.”
