The excitement for the PlayStation Showcase to return with new and exciting games was extremely thrilling for the fans. The watch party was bursting with chats and demands on what the audience wanted to see. Someone demanded GTA 6 whereas some demanded a trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. But amongst this came the trailer, which gave everyone goosebumps.

A colony of ants marching towards a dead frog, a bird picking up that dead frog and flying from in between a damaged enemy line to sit on a fallen tree trunk in a forest pond, a snake praying on the bird, and a crocodile praying on the snake. Among this nature’s brutality of survival, the question was, who is the real predator here?

And the answer came with a very chilling facial reveal of none other than Solid Snake himself, as PlayStation Showcase finally revealed that the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Solid Snake is a very real thing now. And with that, the real apex predator is coming back to PlayStation by the name of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Solid Snake.

Not a PlayStation 5 exclusive though

Notably, PS5 did not announce Metal Gear Solid Delta: Solid Snake to be a platform exclusive, therefore it wouldn’t be a shock to see the same announcement be made for other platforms.

However, Konami also ended the trailer with the announcement of the trailer with confirmation of a Metal Gear Solid retro collection, named Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which will include the first 3 games of the series for PS5 as well and will be available this Autumn.
