After The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a Nintendo Direct was everything the fans would have wanted. Well according to a recent rumor, there’s more for the Nintendo fans. The wait for Nintendo Switch 2 might be finally coming to an end. 

Nintendo Switch 2 Announcement Just Around The Corner

Nintendo Switch 2 has been in talks for a while now. Fans have constantly been speculating about the release of a possible Nintendo Switch 2 kit. Although with all the official appearances the company made this year, there weren’t many revelations on the same. The rumors are again ignited with a leaker’s claim on the possible release. The leak hints at a release date sooner than fans speculated. According to a leaker’s tweet, Nintendo Switch 2 is in its final trial phase.

The Japanese gaming giant has already sent a few of the kits to its Spain studios. The talks from the leaker’s sources suggest that Nintendo is planning a presentation in a matter of four to five days. The tweet translated, “Leak Express: The Switch 2 development kit has arrived in Spain. That a Spanish studio already has the kit, in the face of Nintendo’s policy of secrecy, is a boost in their relations and indicates that we are in the last phases prior to the presentation of the console.”

The leaker had earlier made two accurate predictions about ‘Metroid Dread’. The user had tweeted about Nintendo’s plan to have a 2D Metroid Dread almost a year before it was made official. The latter then tweeted another prediction two months before Metro Dread’s release. These previous episodes have let the fans believe in the leaker’s credibility. Although a lot of fans believe that even with an early announcement, the arrival would take days or even months. The rational estimation for Nintendo Switch 2 arrival is around midway through 2024.
