Just days before its eventual launch, the early reactions for Marvel’s Midnight Suns have been out, from the critics. And going by the majority of the reviews, the upcoming superhero project from Firaxis has stunned the fans. Most of them were initially assuming that it would turn out to be a mediocre release. Surprisingly, though, it’s not going to be the case at all!

In case anyone missed to keep a track of it, Midnight Suns is a tactical RPG, made by Firaxis Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. It’s going to feature characters from the famous Marvel comics such as Avengers, X-Men, Runaways, and Midnight Suns of course.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will enable the players to create their own superhero, called ‘The Hunter’. Moreover, the protagonist will have the option of over 40 different superpowers. Now coming onto its release, it’s yet to be out on Friday, December 2. However, the game has already created an unexpected buzz, thanks to the overly-positive reviews from the majority of the reputed outlets.

To begin with, websites like VGC and GamesHub have given it a perfect score of 5 out of 5 each. Moving further, PCGamesN and Gamepur gave it an impressive rating of 9 out of 10 each.

Furthermore, other prominent websites like IGN, GameSpot, GamesRadar, and RPG Site all gave Marvel’s Midnight Suns a solid score of 8 out of 10 each. Not only that, the review aggregator website Metacritic also showered a very good rating on the superhero title. As of this writing, the game has got a score of 83, for the PC platform, based on 57 critic reviews.

Seeing this kind of performance by the upcoming title, most of the gaming enthusiasts were left in disbelief. On social media, many of them expressed their reactions by mentioning that they were not expecting highly amazing reviews for this offering. But it has succeeded in proving them wrong. “Crikey, not what I expected!” wrote one user on Twitter. Overall, many players are now hyped for it to say the least.

Midnight Suns comes out on Friday, December 2, for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
