The Ludwig x Tarik Valorant Invitational, a two-day LAN event that took place on January 14-15, 2023, was a showcase of some of the best teams and players in the competitive Valorant scene. SicK, who played in tournaments with TenZ reflected on Tyson’s performance in Ludwig X Tarik invitational as an Initiator as well, despite him being the Dualist already.

Sentinels had a strong showing at the event, but there were moments where some uncertainty in their team composition and playstyle was present. SicK, responding during his stream on January 17, shared his thoughts on how the team composition draft should fit with the playstyle of players. He said that he wanted to hear the opinions of the viewers first before sharing his own.

SicK advises Sentinels

SicK then offered one piece of advice to Sentinels from a third-party perspective by saying, “The one piece of advice I would give to Sentinels is that Tyson, our player, has to be on a duelist to be most effectively. Tyson is literally the best player in all of gaming history on any duelist.” He believes that putting Tyson in a duelist role will enable him to perform at his best and ultimately help the team win any future match.

The player also shared his thoughts on how Sentinels performed at the event overall. He praised the team’s strong showing but also acknowledged areas where they could improve.

Another player that stood out in the event was TenZ, who is known for his versatility as a duelist. SicK explained that this versatility allows TenZ to enable the ‘TenZ kill’ mode which will inevitably help Sentinels win. He said, “You can put him on Yoru, put him on f*****g…uhh…it doesn’t matter…just get him in there…and let him send it and we will win.”

Despite Sentinels coming 3rd in the tourney, it was seen that many of TenZ’s fans were happy about the fact that he is taking on some other roles as well, but still wanted him to play what he plays best.
