Red Dead Redemption 2 in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo fans noticed a scene in the new pre-launch trailer where Link could be seen pulling a chariot with his horse. Further, four figures were sitting in the chariot, but it was hard to see who were those four men. It is possible those figures were random NPCs part of a mission. However, the fans weren’t interested in those four figures, but in the entire scene.

That scene from the trailer reminded them of the 2018-released Red Dead Redemption 2. The action RPG game by Rockstar Games is set in a Western cowboy setting, so there were many scenes where the characters could be seen traveling in a chariot. Moreover, the Link was the one who possibly build that using his new “Fuse” ability.

It is unclear if the Nintendo Switch referenced the 2018-released action RPG or not. Also, there is no reason for Tears of the Kingdom to not have a chariot, as it is one of the oldest known methods of traveling. Additionally, this isn’t the first time fans tried connecting the two games, as one fan wanted to build John Marston’s house in Tears of The Kingdom.

Some fans were amused to see this unique connection between the two games. But some fans claimed that the game’s producer Eiji Aonuma revealed the team was playing RDR2 while working on this game. Meanwhile, some fans thought this scene reminded them of Skyrim more than Tears of the Kingdom.
