The upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie has everyone excited about it. Every trailer of this movie is giving a hint at its greatness. Or at least it would be faithful enough to its source material that its being perfect would not matter much.

Movies did this before, Detective Pikachu and Sonic the hedgehog have won praise just by being very faithful to the games they are based on. It being faithful to the Mario games it’s based on has yet again been proven by a promotional poster.
The latest poster for Super Mario Bros. Movie shows the wrath of Bowser!
Illumination Entertainment has been hard at work on bringing the world of the mushroom kingdom to life. A bunch of great actors have been putting all they got into their performance of the inhabitants of that vibrant world too.
Nintendo and Universal are also doing all to market this movie to all the fans and bystanders. If not for their fandom, some would show their kids this movie because it is just that, an animated movie for kids!
And that’s where the latest poster comes in. The official Twitter account of the Super Mario Bros. movie has recently revealed a very detailed poster. This poster features Mario’s archenemy Bowser holding a superstar. If we have to make a guess, maybe this guy is planning to use this star for something malicious.
For those unaware, Bowser in this movie is being played by the legendary Jack Black. And judging from the recent trailers, he is doing an awesome job playing a guy full of anger and hate for Mario and Luigi!
This movie has a star-studded cast!
Other than Jack Black as Bowser, this upcoming Mario movie would feature numerous great actors as crucial characters. Guardians of the Galaxy fame Chris Pratt is Mario, it is Always Sunny star Charlie Day is playing Mario’s taller sibling Luigi.
Anya Taylor-Joy plays princess peach while Keegan-Michael Key and Seth Rogen would play Toad and Donkey Kong, respectively.

Fans have already heard these characters speak in various trailers and they sound as good as they are expected to sound. The biggest actor to join the cast of this movie would be Charles Martinet. It is said he would be playing a surprise role in this upcoming movie.
