While she continues to do so, one would be shocked to know that she had entered and set up her current empire from the time when gaming streams were the meta. And in her interview with xQc, she states how she stepped into streaming without doing gaming streaming.

Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa aka Amouranth has been a star that has skyrocketed on the popularity charts in the community. From cosplay streams to dominating the hot-tub meta, she has come a long way in the streaming world. Moreover, she welcomes loads of money and carries a $100 million+ investment portfolio, which hints at the prospering career she currently has.

However, making a name for oneself in the streaming world is not as easy as it looks. The new upcoming streamers and the ongoing competitiveness do make the profession a challenging one. Thus, Amouranth shares how she made a name for herself without doing gaming streams exclusively.

Amouranth shares her experience of getting into streaming without the help of the gaming meta

In her interview with xQc, Amouranth gave her views on content creation, her life before streaming, and other topics. An interesting segment came when xQc asked her about the motivation that she took while entering the streaming community. More so, her answer depicted how she ‘snuck into streaming without doing gaming’.

Amouranth stated how at first she was doing cosplays and anime art pieces as a part of her hobby and then went on to promote her content on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. She put forward the instance when Twitch was welcoming cosplay streamers to the platform, which snowballed to where her career stands now.

Admitting to have gotten an email from them, she continued by saying, “I was like, ‘why not make some money on the side while you’re gonna be crafting anyways, talk to people set up a camera’. And they kind of evolved from there. They started promoting it heavily in 2016. So, they were actually making a sweet deal for people who wanted to get partnered.”

She said, “Through gaming, at that time you had like 500 concurrent viewers, but with creative section you only had to have about like 80 to 100 concurrent viewers. So that’s kind of how I snuck in without doing gaming.”
