Yes! we’ll be hearing Charles Martinet as Mario again but there’s a twist. 

Nintendo Switch version release of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon to feature the original voice

For all the fans who rooted for the actor’s one last performance for the franchise, Nintendo has a plan. The upcoming Switch version of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is almost on the cards. For context, the original 3DS release of the title happened in the year 2013. The sequel to Luigi’s Mansion 2001 was one of the most celebrated releases back then. Earlier in June 2023, Nintendo officially announced a remake of Dark Moon as a Switch version. The release is planned for the first half of 2024. 

According to the makers, the remake will have a lot of visual enhancements to add on to the immersive experience on Switch. The highlight of the upcoming release is the fact that Charles Martinet voiced Luigi in the game. Although it is important to note that there will be no re-recordings for the remake. The developers would be using the same archives from the original. In fact, fans can expect the audio to be of higher enhanced quality in the remake.
