With The Last Of Us Series just five days away, Naughty Dog’s Co-President has sent out a positive message, and fans can’t wait to watch it.

HBO Max announced the adaption of Naughty Dog’s top game, The Last Of Us, months back. They wanted to give tribute to this iconic series by turning it into a nine-episode drama for fans. After all, fans adored the all-time favorite Ellie-Joel partnership and wished to see it live someday. Keeping that in mind, HBO Max decided to bring it to life, let alone invite new fans to learn about this epic.

Back in 2020, when the whole world was in a dark place, HBO announced this project, giving out some hope. The news broke on the internet as fans kept counting the days until its official release. And after two whole years of production, the franchise promised January 15, 2023, to be the release date.

Now, with only a handful of days left before the official drop, HBO Max invited Naughty Dog’s management for an exclusive premiere. Members like Arne Meyer, Neil Druckmann, Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, and a few others attended its event. And after getting through the second episode barely, Arne uploaded a tweet hyping up the series.

However, before giving access worldwide, the Warner Bros. subsidy hosted a premiere for the developers. They invited the entire Naughty Dog team, the heart of this iconic series. It was one of the heartfelt moments for Neil Druckmann and Arne Meyer as years of hard work were finally on screen. So, after taking a break from watching the first episode, Naughty Dog’s co-president sent out a message.

Here’s what he said, “Just got out of a screening of the first TheLastOfUs episode for the whole Naughty_Dog studio. Surreal still to actually see it like this! Fantastically strong start to the series. I hope the Naughty Dog crew enjoyed what they saw. Can’t wait for you all to see it!!”
