While Activision is busy promoting the latest Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, scoopers have managed to find out one more detail surrounding this year’s upcoming premium. It looks like the hype train is going to escalate even further now!

Thanks to a random user on social media, a major update has been reportedly leaked on the internet. In short, the key art for Call of Duty 2023 has seemingly surfaced. Something similar had recently happened with the awaited game when the logo was leaked ahead of an expected reveal in August.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III key art reportedly revealed ahead of a rumored trailer release

An account that goes by the name of Earthbound_Fan on Twitter/X recently took to the platform to post a link. It seems like it was from a website containing the key art of 2023’s premium installment from Activision. At least that’s what the scooper alleged while sharing the tweet.

What’s interesting to note is that the tweet was immediately removed soon after it was initially shared. Apparently, Earthbound_Fan was hit with a copyright strike on the image that they revealed. This means that the leaked key art, in the now-deleted tweet, could be legitimate. Here’s a screenshot from the picture that was taken down:

Just a few days ago, an image was shared featuring Task Force 141 member Captain Price. In that picture, the character was seen surrounded by a red color background. A mysterious figure was seen lurking behind him. Based on the rumors so far, it’s been speculated that series villain Makarov is about to return in MWIII. Hence, many theories are indicating that this figure could be him.

Activision is expected to share an official announcement on Call of Duty 2023 this month. Industry insiders have claimed that it will be done through an in-game live event under Season 5 of Warzone DMZ. Now that the new update has been released, it will be interesting to see whether the makers will dropping a teaser trailer in the current season or not.
