While many players are already playing Baldur’s Gate 3 on their PCs, console users will need to wait some more to get their hands on the game. However, handheld gamers are in luck since the game is certified to run on Valve’s popular Steam Deck. While the handheld console is quite capable of running high-demanding games, Baldur’s Gate 3 is highlighting many issues with the device. According to a report by The Verge, the Steam Deck can stumble to run Baldur’s Gate 3 in high settings.

Steam Deck making this a blur

Larian Studios has announced that they plan to implement FSR 2.2 in Baldur’s Gate 3 soon. This will surely mean the graphics and visual quality of the game will get even better. However, until its arrival, Steam Deck users are stuck with what they got right now. The 122 GB game has multiple problems on the Steam Deck such as pixelated display. It’s even reported that during combat, it can become difficult to distinguish enemies from the environment of the game.

In case you’re too ambitious and want to play the game with friends, you might run into some more problems since the Steam Deck will have to run both your characters at the same time.
