Since 2022, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has tasted nothing but success. First, he became the fastest streamer to cross the 100,000 subscriber milestone, with fans adoring his content. Then, he became friends with co-streamers like Adin Ross, IShowSpeed, and more. This acted as a major breakthrough, as his popularity kept soaring to new heights. Plus, he signed off 2022 as ‘Streamer Of The Year.’

Fast forward to 2023, the content creator reserved fresh goals for the following months. And out of all, the top priority remained to become the most subscribed streamer on Twitch. As of now, Kai is yet to grab that spot but has steered clear of one of the two mammoths holding the topline for a long time.

Here’s what he said in his recent tweet, “WE ARE NOW AT 270K SUBS, MAKING US THE #2 MOST SUBSCRIBED STREAMER OF ALL TIME APPRECIATE YOU ALL1 MORE STOP.” For those uninitiated, Ninja held the second spot for most subscribers for a long time. He had set the record in 2018, streaming Fortnite day and night. This had helped Ninja bag 269,154 subscribers under his name, lagging behind Ludwig Ahgren.

But now, it looks like Kai has walked past him, writing his name on the second spot. The reason Cenat could achieve this status was a result of his month-long subathon that he hosted at the start of February. Since then, the streamer has garnered thousands of subs, entertaining the fans at all times. However, that has led Ludwig to become a little impatient, as the number one spot does not look very far for Kai Cenat. To explain in detail, Ludwig holds the top spot with 283,066 subscribers under his name. So, if Kai is running at 270k, it’s just another 13,000 subscribers to pass him.
