

With WWE launching its remarkable campus rush agenda last year, sports rookies across American universities have been easily able to get a chance to be the next big thing at the world’s biggest wrestling promotion.
The WWE Campus Rush was primarily launched with the motive of educating youngsters about the specifics of becoming a WWE superstar. But eventually, it also served recruitment purposes, too. For the first time after TKO Holdings took over, WWE is again gearing up to hunt for the future faces of wrestling. The dates have all been laid out recently.

WWE released the dates of its upcoming ‘Campus Rush’ initiative
The Stamford-based company will be on a tour of the States for the next three months to hire new talent. So, it’s time for university athletes to buckle up. The slots have already been announced for the fall semester. Starting from the end of September and going on till December, WWE will be visiting several universities in Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Washington, Maryland, Missouri, and Texas.

It’s always encouraging to see new generations of wrestlers find their footing in the business and proceed toward creating their places in the industry. That said, we must not forget about some of the all-time greatest superstars who rose to the status of a megastar from their humble beginnings as a university athlete.
Can college students reach their WWE dreams?
WWE has never shied from giving a platform to college-level athletes only to draw big benefits later. There are many big names like Big E, Bianca Belair, Omos, and Raquel Rodriguez associated with this practice. But probably the biggest draw of this trend is none other than The Beast Incarnate.
There are some superstars who took longer to discover their potential, but Lesnar was different. He started to show signs of a future megastar much before stepping into WWE.

His gigantic size and unbelievable fitness made many envision him as the finest asset of the McMahon company. And now, it’s a legit reality, perhaps the most undisputed reality in the carnival of the wrestling Universe.

Maybe there’s another Brock Lesnar brewing somewhere around any of the above-mentioned university campuses. It’s just a matter of time to dig them out, which is the sole purpose of WWE Campus Rush 2023.
