One user expressed admiration and support for De La Hoya while asserting he deserves to be the Grand Marshal for the parade. The user also acknowledged that De La Hoya is an inspiration for a lot of people across the globe.

Unlike the first user, this person wasn’t so kind with his words. The user asked if De La Hoya came out as a homosexual. It’s worth mentioning that Shane Mosley has known De La Hoya for a long time, and he claims Oscar is not gay.

Another user dragged Canelo Alvarez into the mix. The user suggested that De La Hoya talks about Canelo so much because of a personal attraction. Notably, De La Hoya was Canelo’s former promoter, but the pair parted ways after a dispute regarding the breach of their contract.
