Jake Paul managed to pull off yet another win against Ryan Bourland on March 3 at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. And now the Cleveland native is out celebrating his victory with his friends. Going into the matchup, most people expected the same outcome from the fight. But Jake Paul over-delivered.

In a similar fashion to his knockout win over Andre August in December last year, ‘The Problem Child’ floored Bourland in the first round of their eight-round bout. So, to celebrate his spectacular win over a guy who hadn’t fought in a year and quit boxing – Paul threw a lavish pool party. His sports betting company, Betr, even shared a clip from the festivities on social media today.

Jake Paul likes living larger than life

Turning to Instagram, Betr shared the clip in question with a caption that read, “[Jake Paul] living his best life. Jake Paul celebrates with champagne after win.” Meanwhile, in the clip, Paul can be seen celebrating his win poolside with a friend, who had cracked open a Melchizedek-sized bottle of wine.

It was Paul’s ninth professional win in his tenth professional bout. The only red in his otherwise pristine resume came from fighting Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia last year.

However, even in that fight, Paul had performed spectacularly, knocking Fury down once. Moreover, while Jake Paul celebrates his win in Puerto Rico, one MMA legend has condemned the YouTuber turned-boxer.

‘Mighty Mouse’ wants to know why Paul fights people “off the streets”

It’s not the first time MMA legend Demetrious Johnson has spoken out about the threat that is Jake Paul. After Paul had defeated Andre August last year, Johnson made his opinion known about Paul fighting unknown guys. However, after witnessing Paul absolutely dismantle Bourland, ‘Mighty Mouse’ went a step further to criticize ‘The Problem Child.’

“[Jake Paul] is evolving, don’t get me wrong. He is evolving, but what are you doing when you’re fighting these guys you find off the street? Like I said before. When he fought Andre August, the gentleman was running pizza routes. Go, find somebody who is 25, 26 years old, who Eddie Hearn or somebody can find that’s in the gym, that’s grinding, that’s hungry. Put yourself in the fire,” said Johnson.

While most people in the boxing world might not think defeating Ryan Bourland is that big of a milestone, Jake Paul seems to think it’s a significant win in his career. Whether as Johnson said, Paul decides to fight some real boxers is yet to be seen. However, we would like to get your thoughts on Paul’s win. Do you think it was a fair fight?
