The time is finally here for which everyone has been waiting for months, years, and decades. WBC champion Tyson Fury will go toe-to-toe with IBF, WBA, WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk, producing the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999. While the fight is pretty fifty-fifty, Tyson seems a bit too confident about winning.

Well, upon his arrival at the venue, Fury confidently brandished a cigar, declaring his intention to savor it as a victorious celebration after overcoming Usyk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Pre-Fight Shenanigans: Tyson Fury celebrates early

Turning to X moments earlier, IFL TV shared the clip in question with a caption, “Tyson Fury is that confident of victory tonight, he’s got a victory cigar ready.” Meanwhile, in the footage, Fury, clad in his signature fancy attire, casually requests his coat where he stashed the celebratory cigar.

Upon retrieving the cigar, Fury wastes no time placing it between his lips, playfully mimicking a puff. However, this playful gesture seemed to irk some fans, who were hoping for a more focused demeanor from Fury just moments before what’s being hailed as the most significant fight in recent memory.

Fans desire a knockout from Oleksandr Usyk

Seeing such arrogance after his lackluster performance against Francis Ngannou last year, fans decided to bring him down a peg or two. One user suggested that now Tyson needs to win the fight or he will be in trouble.

Another user claimed Tyson Fury probably asked his father, John Fury, to be ringside, so if he loses John can attack Usyk with a baseball bat.

However, the next user seems to have been moved by Tyson’s confidence, praising Tyson’s new physique.

The next user insinuated that Oleksandr Usyk will be the one to extinguish Fury’s celebratory cigar after emerging victorious against Tyson Fury.

Another user couldn’t conceal their disdain for Fury’s arrogance, eagerly anticipating the moment they envisioned him to be sprawled out across the canvas in defeat.

With that said Tyson Fury’s brash and out-there personality seems to have backfired among fans, evident from the comments on the post. However, Fury has always backed his trash talk with his actions. Hence, his zero is still intact. Do you think that may change soon?
