Francis Ngannou held his own against the Heavyweight boxing champion of the world. It was a superlative feat by any measure. Unsurprisingly, he finds himself at the stage where almost every boxer would love to pit themselves against him and check whether their credentials still stand where the ones of a reigning title holder faltered. Amidst talks of a rematch with Tyson Fury, a possible Anthony Joshua match, or even an MMA fight with Deontay Wilder, ‘The Predatory’ might have to look out for a new shoutout.

Heavyweight challenger Derek Chisora joins the list of Heavyweights who would love to take on Ngannou in their next bouts. 38-year-old ‘Del Boy War’ recently fought a ten-round bout against Gerald Washington on the Anthony Joshua-Robert Helenius undercard. It follows the title challenge loss to Tyson Fury last December. So does a boxer who lost a fight to a champion who struggled against a boxer making his pro-boxing debut stand a chance? Many fans think so.

The following fans also seem to agree with the prospects of the fight: According to them, given the ferocity of the two boxers, a confrontation between Ngannou and Chisora will surely be an event to remember.

The following user appeared doubtful whether it would work in Derek Chisora’s favor or not. While not completely ruling out his chances of winning, the user highlighted the devastating punching power of Francis Ngannou, which eventually hurt Tyson Fury’s face!

Echoing almost similar sentiments, this fan also cautioned Chisora that he could be gravely harmed. They lauded the Heavyweight challenger’s never-give-up spirit and neither suspect that he won’t fight back. But the fact remains that Ngannou’s strength would just overwhelm him.

For sure, where there are eager beavers, a bunch of doubters would tag behind to pull the rug from under. But what are Francis Ngannou’s plans?

Let’s dance again

From what it seems, ‘The Predator’ has called out for a rematch with Fury. It remains to be seen whether the Mancunian gets back to settle all the questions about his performance in the first match. Ngannou was speaking with TMZ Sports. He shared that while he has loads of options to follow, he would tread his move on a cautionary note. Hence, a rematch would be his first choice of action to take place in that order. Several personalities from the combat sports world felt that Francis Ngannou deserved the victory on October 28. Hence, a rematch should be a logical recourse to cast aside any further doubts about his boxing abilities.
