Australian boxing sensation Tim Tszyu will enter the ring on March 30 at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas! His opponent – the former unified welterweight champion Keith Thurman. It will be ‘One Time’ Thurman’s return to the ring after a spotty few years in the sport. So, ‘The Soul Taker’ is confident about an easy win and is planning for a big next fight!

And not just a big fight! According to his choice of opponents, it might as well be a mega-fight. The undefeated Aussie has his sights set on Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. However, that’s not all he had to say during an interview with Fox Sports today!

Tim Tszyu thinks Terence Crawford is beatable

Speaking to Tszyu, the reporter swiftly probed him about the rumors of a fight against Terence Crawford. “There have been talks between us. And I give Crawford all respect. He’ll fight anyone. And that’s why I see him as such a great challenge,” said Tszyu. It’s worth mentioning that Crawford was supposed to face Spence Jr. in their rematch, but it fell apart because of the former’s cataract surgery.

Nevertheless, Tszyu thinks Crawford isn’t indestructible. However, that doesn’t guarantee that a fight between them would happen because “there’s a lot going on. It could be Crawford, Errol Spence, whichever one is easiest to make,” said Tszyu. While the Aussie is planning a big showdown after Thurman in America, he doesn’t think highly of most American fighters.

Tszyu thinks American fighters “disappear on honeymoons”

Earlier in the same interview with Fox Sports, the reporter brought up Tszyu’s comment on American fighters where he had branded them “p***ies,” questioning him about the blowback because of it. “No one’s said anything to me because no one can argue it. It isn’t like this is something I’m making up,” Tszyu answered. “We’ve also got guys now who disappear on honeymoons. They have no drive. Don’t stay active. There are a lot of fighters that comment was directed at,” he continued. 

When asked about whether he would want to name a few of these fighters, Tszyu blatantly roped in Jermall Charlo, Spence Jr., and his upcoming opponent. “Charlo is one of them. Errol Spence Jr a bit, too. Although, at least, he is trying to make big fights. Then you’ve got Keith Thurman. He’s another one,” said Tszyu.

It’s not even the fight month yet, and Tim Tszyu is looking for his next opponent. It doesn’t just show that he doesn’t consider Keith Thurman much of a competition, but also his drive to make a name for himself in the boxing scene.
