Ryan Garcia has set his eyes on a potential fight with Gervonta Davis. Garcia has mentioned battling Tank multiple times during the past few days. Even though nothing has been said about it yet, there is already a sense of excitement in the air.

Ryan Garcia recently revealed in an interview, “People don’t understand, they could think GGG-Canelo is bigger, they could think Crawford-Spence is bigger, it may be bigger right now. But if we announce it, the hype, the celebrities, everything around it, you know, when energy builds up you got to understand it expands. And it gets to a place where you can’t control. People don’t see that, and it’s gonna go to the stratosphere. It can hit a million buys, for sure.”

Gervonta Davis responds to Ryan Garcia’s challenge 

The lightweight division is currently clustered with some of the best boxers in the world. Tank Davis and Garcia are two of them. Davis defeated Rolando Romero in his last fight, while the latter recently defeated Javier Fortuna.

As KingRy won the bout against Fortuna, he said, “I’m not going back down to 135lbs for nothing, but I will fight Tank next at 140lbs. I’m going to record all the negotiations, so you can’t say I’m ducking. That fight’s going to give me the respect I deserve. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Garcia seems keen and confident to fight the Baltimore prodigy. Davis also took to Twitter to share his views about the same.
