Mike Tyson was in conversation with Joe Rogan, and the latter asked about how he felt when he was an amateur and won fights. Tyson stated, “Joe all right, I’m gonna tell you something. And Teddy Atlas will tell you this, my first fight ever, right? I knocked the guy out and I stepped on him like this(puts his arms up showing his victory). I was just so passionate about fighting, boom, knocking on like this.”

He further added, “Listen, I’m really into that gangster, warrior mentality, savvy rich stuff.”      

Well, although Tyson has transformed into a completely different person now, the young Mike Tyson was a rage-filled wrecking ball. Even Rogan gasped in disbelief when Tyson told the anecdote about standing on his opponent after knocking him out.

Mike Tyson displays his warrior spirit despite being unwell 

‘Iron Mike’ has been one of the most sensational athletes of his era. Even today fans look up to him and gain inspiration from the greatest boxer that ever lived. However, the former heavyweight champion was currently spotted in a wheelchair condition, as he was suffering from a lower back medical condition.

Tyson wasn’t able to walk and was using a wheelchair and a walking stick. Furthermore, it even made him unable to speak properly. Although he has recovered from his illness, but he is still not in his best health. He shared a clip on Instagram where he stated, “Sometimes, when it comes to my realization of the situation, I forget that I’m that guy. I forget that I trained that hard and became a fighter and stuff. I had to be scary then. I don’t have to be scary anymore. I have to be funny. I’m funny now. That’s the number one factor and survival in life is adapt, adaptation.”

He has been suffering from a medical condition sciatica flare-up, which has made him frail. However, the 56-year-old is fighting it like a champ, and he continues to inspire millions of people who look up to him.
