Tyson Fury was set to face Oleksandr Usyk on April 29th of this year. For the longest time, the bout between the two could not into fruition due to failed negotiations. Fury and his management demanded a “70-30” spilt in the revenue between the fighters. Uysk accepted the terms online on his Instagram story. Thereafter, it was assumed that the fight will be confirmed.

However, unfortunately, it appears that the fight is off. Each side is blaming the other. The fans at large are frustrated as the fight is now long due. Recently, Tommy Fury, the younger brother of Fury came out and set the record straight.
Fans blame Tyson Fury for the fight being called off
Tommy Fury recently appeared on Sky Sports boxing. In his interview, he expressed that his brother is not the reason why the fight is stalled. He states, “It’s a lot of politics in boxing. I want to say this first hand, The reason why this fight isn’t being made isn’t down to Tyson.”

He further adds that Tyson is a fighting man and is ready to fight him. “He’ll fight anyone, he doesn’t fear any man. Especially not a cruiserweight who can’t do anything anyway. He is too small.”

It is quite evident that the fans appear extremely frustrated. For years the bout between the two has been talked about. But for now, it appears that it will not take place.
