On June 15th, the Baltimore-based fighter will return to the ring after more than a year of a sabbatical. He comes after giving Ryan Garcia, his career’s first loss and spending a brief time in jail. Martin on the other hand, undefeated, also enters the ring after a little less than a year. Both fighters remain confident of emerging victorious. However, fans, in early predictions of the fight see Martin as the underdog. As he tried explaining how he felt in that position, Tank hardly gave him any chance to speak. Things took a turn after that.

In the event, Martin was quizzed on how he felt to be seen as the underdog against the WBA “Regular” champion. In response, a mature answer seemed to come. He noted that he was aware of being seen as an underdog, but that was something he faced his entire career span. However, by the time he could finish his answer, Tank, interjected.

Annoyed, ‘The Ghost’ snapped. He remarked, “You be doing all the tweeting, lemme talk.” While Tank remained relentless in his bickering, Martin not only questioned the fighter but also made a vow. “Didn’t you say you’re done talking?… imma touch him up… imma touch his a** up.”

In response, Tank went overboard. He said, “That little female he got. She’s probably around here somewhere. I’ll catch up with her.” As he said that, Martin appeared annoyed, and even angry. He tried to get back at Davis, but the latter continued his shenanigans, dominating the conversation with his noise.

What else did Tank say?

There was a moment when Tank almost slapped Martin. However, the people in between stopped that from happening. However, in another eye-grabbing moment, Tank spoke seriously too. He explained, “I’m glad to be back in the ring. I’ve been off for a long time. I want to be flawless and do what I do best and that’s give you fans the best boxing you’ve seen up to date. He’s a frontrunner. I’m telling you, it’s a different beast in front of you.”

While that seemed powerful, he added further, “There’s nobody walking with him, holding his hand. It’s not going to be the same on June 15th. There’s a lot of bull s**t built up. I’m going to take it out on him. I’m sorry it’s going to be him.”

Apart from Tank and Martin, on the card are featured David Benavidez – Oleksandr Gvozdyk. The two will battle it off to see who among them will go ahead to fight Dmitry Bivol later this year.
