Controversial influencer and former mixed martial artist Andrew Tate is making a dramatic return to the combat scene under the Misfits Boxing banner. His fight will be against TV personality Chase DeMoor in Dubai on December 20 in the heavyweight division. Before stepping into the ring, however, he and his brother, Tristan, have boldly remarked that they are better than Jake Paul and Logan Paul, except in one certain aspect.

The conversation unfolded during an interview with Fred Beck in Dubai. Speaking to Andrew Tate, Beck asked him about the possibility of a tag-team match against the Paul brothers, now that Tate has returned to combat sports.

“It’d be historic. Yeah, we’re open to the idea. Why not?” the older Tate brother responded. Tristan Tate agreed that it would be interesting but expressed doubts about the concept’s practicality. “I don’t think in a real fight sport, there would be any system where a tag team would be feasible.”

When Beck mentioned that Misfits Boxing has already hosted tag-team bouts, Tristan quickly deferred to his brother.

“Oh, well, you’re the CEO, Andrew. You tell me,” he said. Andrew seemed equally open to the idea, replying, “Let’s run it. I’m the CEO… Let’s find the right opponents after December 20th. That’s my number one focus. When that’s done, I’m open to anything.” That’s when Beck floated the idea of facing Jake Paul and Logan Paul.

“I’m not afraid of the Paul brothers at all. And you know, if it came down to Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate vs. Jake Paul and Logan Paul, the Tates win every single time in every single way. I think right now we’re certainly more famous. We’re richer. We’re taller, more handsome, etc,” Tristan declared confidently, emphasizing their superiority.

However, Beck pressed further, asking whether the Tates also had better hairlines than the Paul brothers. Tristan laughed and conceded during the interview, admitting that’s the only area the Paul brothers are better than them.

“Oh, no. Not me. Not me. My hairline’s terrible,” he said. 

Notably, Andrew last competed in December 2020, winning a kickboxing match against Cosmin Lingurar via second-round technical knockout. The former professional kickboxer holds a record of 76-9-1.  Meanwhile, Jake Paul is preparing to face WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in a one-of-a-kind exhibition match on November 14 in Miami. Still, Andrew has made another bold claim—this time, aimed directly at Logan Paul’s business partner and fellow influencer KSI.

Andrew Tate claims he is the CEO of Misfits Boxing

Andrew Tate claimed that he is now the CEO of Misfits Boxing, the influencer-led fight promotion founded by KSI. Speaking in an announcement video, Tate said, “Welcome to your new CEO. It wasn’t a hostile takeover, but it was certainly planned,” adding that he would be working with co-founder Mams Taylor to “finally put Misfits where it belongs on the world stage.”

Tate suggested that KSI had been removed from his role, claiming, “Somebody that failed at their obligations to make this organization as big as it should’ve been has been ousted, and I’m the new CEO.” Later, during the interview with Fred, he added, “KSI tweeted something that annoyed me three years ago, so long story short: I took his company from him.” Tate concluded that the move made sense, saying, “If I’m gonna fight [for] an organization, why not fight [for] one that I own a percentage of?”

It appears Andrew Tate wants to take over the influencer boxing scene. According to him, Misfits Boxing is already his. Still, it’s yet to be seen whether he can convince Jake Paul and Logan Paul for a blockbuster tag team matchup. Would you watch it?
