The game came out in October last year and hit the boxing world like a truck. It reached immediate peak popularity among boxing enthusiasts. While players faced some issues, the game was largely seen as a success. Fast-forward to a few days ago, Tank Davis appeared in an interview with Lil Yachty on his ‘A Safe Place Podcast’.

During the conversation, Yachty asked Davis about his absence from the game. Davis calmly responded with four words, “They never contacted me.” However, it appears Davis is not losing any sleep over his absence. Instead, he hopes to be part of another title, noting, “The game I do want to be in is Def Jam Vendetta. I got to be in that.”

The game was originally created for GameCube and PlayStation 2 in April 2003. It was developed by AKI Corporation and EA Canada, and EA Games published the title. Regardless, coming back to real life, Gervonta Davis has revealed some great news about his career.

Gervonta Davis takes a major U-turn on his retirement plans

Gervonta Davis has backtracked on his previous statement about retiring from boxing by the end of 2025. While the WBA lightweight champion initially stunned fans by declaring, “It’s over with after this year. This is trash, garbage. I’m out,” he now suggests he may only be taking a break rather than quitting for good.

During the same interview, Davis admitted, “Yeah, I’ve been having those thoughts [on changing my mind]. I want to get myself together. I really want to get myself together. Not retire but take a break.”

Davis emphasized his desire to focus on personal growth, family, and business ventures, saying, “There’s stuff I need to work on, like being there for my kids, going to school, building myself up as a person.” With major fights still on the table, his future in the sport remains uncertain.

That said, despite not being included in the Undisputed video game, Gervonta Davis seems rather carefree. With similar titles hitting the market in the future, it would be interesting to see whether Gervonta Davis would be part of their lineup. Do you think Gervonta Davis should have been included in the game?
