Ryan Garcia is so good, even Shakur Stevenson had to acknowledge it! Since then, ‘The Flash’ Garcia has been flooding his social media accounts with content to ride the wave of his roided-up popularity. In one such X post, Garcia shared a clip with Covington, teaching the welterweight the intricacies of his iconic left hook that helped defeat Haney. However, as soon as Garcia’s rival Stevenson chanced upon the clip on X today, he had rare praise for the 25-year-old.

Shakur Stevenson brands Ryan Garcia “goofy n***a” despite praise

Yesterday, ‘KingRy’ shared the clip in a now-deleted tweet, but in true Garcia fashion, he didn’t miss the opportunity to take a jab at ‘Chaos’ Covington. He wrote, “Always good doing charity work Hahahab Jk Colby pretty fire night keep punching.” However, later the same clip was picked up by Happy Punch, who circulated it further, attracting Stevenson’s commentary.

After discovering the clip, the Newark native pointed out, “Funny thing is this goofy n***a showing him some good s**t.” As for Covington, he has managed to keep things interesting by evolving his striking abilities throughout his career, but still, his ground game is the MVP in most of his fights. Taking the opponent down to the ground and capitalizing on his wrestling and grappling skills has won him the fights.

Shakur Stevenson and Colby Covington are clearly impressed by Garcia’s hook, but there’s another UFC star who is impressed with Garcia’s other skill!

Defeated Justin Gaethje, UFC BMF champion says Garcia should be an…

Max Holloway recently went toe-to-toe with Justin Gaethje, producing one of the most electrifying nights in UFC history. Having battled the entire five rounds, Gaethje and ‘Blessed’ took the center of the octagon, exchanging heavy blows until Gaethje got dropped to the ground. The fight also earned him the BMF belt, and he appeared in the JRE podcast to talk about the fight.

While there, Garcia’s fight with Devin Haney came up, and he seemed all praise for the boxer’s acting skills. “I was like, wow. This guy should be an actor… Act like he was crazy, come in three pounds heavy. He sold it all the way to him getting in [to the ring]… Jokes on you, brother. He laughed straight to the bank,” Holloway told Joe Rogan

Acting or not, Garcia’s left hook played a key role in defeating Devin Haney. Something even Shakur Stevenson had to acknowledge. However, the question is, will Stevenson get a shot at Ryan Garcia next? Not to forget, Garcia had previously agreed to fight Stevenson. So, can Garcia cause another upset by defeating Stevenson?
