Caleb Plant is no stranger to violence outside the ring—just ask Jermall Charlo, who learned the hard way! Now, it seems Ryan Garcia has stirred the pot as well. The feud between them began after Garcia failed both his drug tests. Plant refused to accept Garcia’s reasons for failing while his fans kept defending him. Soon, KingRy got directly involved and a social media tirade ensued. During an interview with Cigar Talk, while Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin prepared to face off, Plant discussed his recent online exchanges with Garcia. What did he have to say?

‘Sweethands’ stated he doesn’t mind trash talk, but when personal life and family are involved, things get serious. He said, “I am not looking to be bullied.” Shortly after, Ryan Garcia responded on X, writing, “We will see in person.” And guess what! Their in-person encounter during the Davis-Martin fight turned violent, escalating to a new level. However, this altercation wasn’t enough to silence Garcia, who took to X again to post more derogatory remarks aimed not just at Caleb Plant but someone else too.

Ryan Garcia ropes in Jordan Plant

As Ryan Garcia exited the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas after the fight, escorted by security through a throng of excited fans, Caleb Plant, positioned by the aisle, hurled beer at the departing Victorville native. The incident nearly escalated into a full-blown brawl, but security personnel swiftly intervened to separate the two fighters. The arena erupted with a mix of cheers and boos from the fans witnessing the chaos.

Garcia wasn’t about to let this attack slide. He took to X with some extremely spicy remarks about Plant and his unwitting wife. Garcia wrote, “Caleb Plant just hit me with a beer without me looking and then he ran,” while also stating that he had been intimate with Plant’s “girl” and “showed you the proof.” However, in a following tweet, Garcia clarified that he wasn’t referring to Plant’s wife, Jordan Pant.

“I mean your side girl, Caleb. The one that Jordan [doesn’t] know about. Hehehehe that’s bad she [doesn’t] know,” Garcia wrote, crossing a line while accusing Plant of cheating on his wife. It’s worth mentioning that Garcia’s claims about Plant cheating on his wife are unconfirmed and are likely attempts to provoke the Nashville native.

However, Ryan Garcia should have seen this confrontation from Caleb Plant coming!

Caleb Plant: Repeat offender!

See, the thing is, this isn’t the first time ‘Sweethands’ has given instant justice to people who mock him. All the way back during the Terence Crawford vs. Errole Spence Jr. press conference, Jermall Charlo was invading Plant’s personal space and touching his beard—want to know what happened next?

Yep, Caleb Plant turned to Charlo and graced his face with a tight slap, which Charlo would remember for the rest of his life. Just like the Ryan Garcia incident, the entire ordeal was captured on camera, but unlike Garcia, Jermall Charlo decided to apologize to Plant, and the duo have since put the incident behind them!

With what Ryan Garcia said about Caleb Plant in retaliation to the altercation, things between them are likely to escalate further and any more encounters can turn very serious. But the bigger question is, was violence the right approach here? Do you think this is the end of their saga?
