Now, tensions have escalated further on the day of his big match. Garcia, as confirmed by sources, has banned his promoters from setting foot in his locker room.

Particularly, on Garcia’s firing line was Bernard Hopkins, Golden Boy’s co-founder, who had previously stated that he would assess Garcia’s performance against Duarte before deciding on the young boxer’s future in the sport. Garcia, with defiance in his voice, made it clear that such decisions lie with his coach, team, and those who grind with him day in and day out.
