Beyond the glory and championship belts, reports reveal an additional incentive that’s sure to set hearts racing: a staggering $3 million bonus awaits the triumphant side. Fear not, for here’s a comprehensive breakdown of how the fights will be scored come fight night.

How will the winner be decided for the Matchroom-Queensberry 5 vs. 5 event?

There are a total of six fights on the card tonight, headlined by heavyweights Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, which will be scored by a point system to determine which promoter gets the $3 million bonus as the prize for his stable. Every boxer will have the opportunity to win a point by winning their fight via a decision on the judge’s scorecard. However, if they win the fight via knockout, that will earn them two points instead.

Meanwhile, the captains from either side stand to make double the points, which means, if Deontay Wilder wins, he will get two points for his side. But if he wins the fight via a knockout, he will get four points for his side, and the same goes for Sheeraz. Also, fights that end with a draw won’t get any points, incentivizing the fighters to push for a clear victory with nothing left for chance.

However, the Dmitry Bivol vs. Zalik Minad won’t be part of the scoring system, per DAZN Boxing. At the end of the day, the side with the most points wins the event, and the promoter of the winning side will be given the $3 million prize, which will be then apportioned among the fighters on the winning side. With that said, here’s the list of boxing stars who will be fighting to win the glory for their side!
