Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to controversies, often making headlines for his actions outside the ring. And something similar seems to have happened during his recent visit to Monaco. Clips of the boxing legend have surfaced online, which seem to reveal he was involved in an altercation with a tourist.

In one of the clips, Mayweather can be seen walking through the streets of Monte Carlo, flanked by his bodyguards. Suddenly, an unidentified individual begins speaking from behind the group, prompting Mayweather and his entourage to engage with him. Initially, the entourage tried to ignore the heckler. However, according to the clip, the situation escalated when Mayweather turned around and approached the man, accompanied by his security detail.

“You guys are rich,” the individual repeatedly says, adding, “You don’t need to be like this.” As one of Money Mayweather’s bodyguards steps toward him and asks, “Like what?”, the man begins to back off. The security personnel seemingly chase the man behind a parked car, at which point a nearby police officer quickly intervenes, preventing the confrontation from escalating further.

Floyd Mayweather Responds After Being Attacked by Mob in London

Last year in December, Floyd Mayweather addressed his fans on social media after being caught in a viral altercation during a visit to London’s Hatton Garden. The five-division world champion was reportedly in the posh Central London area buying jewelry when he was confronted inside a jewelry store because of his earlier stance on Israel. Witnesses claimed a person swung at Mayweather, leading to chaos as others joined in, targeting both him and his security team.

“Floyd took a few hits… They got him into a car and sped off,” an eyewitness said. However, Mayweather dismissed these accounts in an Instagram post, stating, “I wasn’t punched or touched in any way.” He credited his security team for keeping him safe and blamed the incident on jealousy and misinformation. “People let jealousy and negativity fuel false stories. I’m perfectly fine,” he wrote, downplaying the dramatic footage that circulated online at the time.

That said, it’s still not completely clear what caused the recent altercation between Floyd Mayweather and the tourist in Monaco. However, further details are expected to surface soon about the incident. What did you make of the situation?
