The couple had their first child, a baby boy named Anthony, back in September 2020. Moreover, the couple was expecting their second child in December, and the day finally came. So, to celebrate the birth of his second child, the Phoenix native turned to Instagram to share the news with his devoted fan base. Here’s what he had to say!

David Benavidez, now a father of two

Right after the birth of his daughter, David turned to Instagram, sharing pictures of the three of them together. Karina had just given birth, lying on a stretcher with their baby daughter resting on her chest. Meanwhile, Benavidez stood over them with the joy of fatherhood in his eyes. The undefeated interim super middleweight champion also penned a message thanking God for the blessing. 

In the message, Benavidez began by revealing his daughter’s name. He wrote, “Our baby Khloe is finally here!!” He went on to assert that there aren’t words that could describe his happiness with the occasion. So, he thanked the all-mighty for the blessing. ‘The Mexican Monster wrote, “I just want to thank god for everything!!! We finally got our baby girl.” Moreover, a statement from Canelo Alvarez suggests more good news is on the way for the Las Vegas resident.

Canelo Alvarez claims he is open to the potential fight

A clash between Canelo and Benavidez is the hottest topic in boxing right now, with fans and pundits coming out of the woodwork to advocate for it. For the longest time, the fate of the fight remained uncertain. However, there’s a twist – as Canelo seems open to a potential clash with the ‘Mexican Monster.’

In a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Canelo claimed he wants to make the best fights, and if the Benavidez fight is good he is open to it. However, he is not so sure about having the fight in September next year. “Like I’ve always said, I’m here to make the best fights, and if that’s a good fight for September or he has to wait a little longer, we’ll see,” said Canelo.
