Muhammad Ali’s daughter becomes the voice for peace

The Instagram post in question details a step-by-step guide for people to follow so they can help with the efforts to call for peace in Israel. The campaign is called, “Demand a cease-fire in Israel and Palestine.” The campaign involves three steps; the first one calls for the registration of votes alongside thousands of others. The next step called for people to call Congress demanding support for the cease-fire.

As the final step in the campaign, people have to send letters to their respective congressperson demanding support for the movement. Besides the campaign, Maryum shared screen grabs of tweets from prominent names and organizations from across the globe, addressing the situation in Israel. While Marum has joined the cause recently, Mayweather stood up in support of Israel earlier.

Floyd Mayweather sent supplies to Israel

Mayweather’s actions in the ring have often attracted applause from the world. However, earlier this year, Mayweather garnered praise for his stance on Israel. Mayweather used his private plane to send vital supplies to the country after the terror group Hamas attacked. According to an article from TMZ, Floyd partnered with an Israeli relief organization to deliver various supplies.

It included things like food, water, and bulletproof vests for Israel’s defense forces and civilians. What’s more, Floyd also arranged a solidarity march to call for peace in the country that garnered major attention from the entire world. During the march, other popular celebrities joined, drawing more eyes to the cause.

While Maryum Ali has raised her voice calling for peace, what sort of impact the campaign would have is yet to be seen. What are your thoughts on the ongoing conflict in Israel? Would you sign up for the campaign?
