It is safe to say that the match against Jake Paul did not go as Mike Tyson thought it would. While the legendary boxer promised himself to be ready for the fight, he gassed out after the first two rounds and was chasing The Problem Child aimlessly after that. His punches started missing, his movement became sluggish and, by the end, he was struggling to even finish the match as Paul won via a unanimous decision with the official scores reading—80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.

It was a sad sight for every Tyson fan, as the legend they adore was crumbling down in front of their eyes. He was not fighting against El Gallo, but rather against the age, that was not on his side at all. But, even in the face of the loss, the former heavyweight champion never lost his will to fight, proving to everyone why he is ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’. And while the night did not turn out to be according to the plans, the 58-year-old made his family proud and gave them a glimpse of the real Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson still a GOAT

After the fight, Tyson’s youngest child, Milan Tyson, took to Instagram and penned down a heartfelt message for her father. She stated how proud she was of her father and how the 50-7 boxer will always be the greatest ever for her.

Milan Tyson shared a picture of her father on her Instagram story and wrote, “SO PROUD!!! I love you so much forever my goat! My number 1 role model for what a man should be 🩷.” The legendary boxer uploaded the original picture on his Instagram a few hours before the fight. He was wearing a black and red jacket with ‘Iron Mike Tyson’ written on the back. The jacket also featured an iconic picture of Iron Mike from his heyday.

Surprisingly, the Brooklyn native also wore this jacket during his entrance to the stadium. The jacket perfectly captures the aura that the boxer carries with him and makes him look like a million bucks. However, it was his entrance to the ring that completely stole the show and left the fans absolutely speechless.

What An Entrance!

The Baddest Man On The Planet has given his fans so many stirring entrances over the years. His entry into the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas was no different. While Jake Paul entered alongside his brother Logan Paul, while riding a custom Chevy dual truck, Tyson did not need that stuff.

The former heavyweight champion walked out of the tunnel all alone on Jay-Z’s “Murdergram” sending a direct signal to Paul. Iron Mike paid tribute to his late daughter, Exodus Sierra Tyson, who tragically passed away at the age of 4 and had her name printed on his shorts. Tyson also has a tattoo of Exodus on his chest right above the heart.

The Brooklyn native hurriedly marched towards the ring without wasting a single moment. He was determined and was ready to get into the action. The first 20 seconds of the fight were similar as Tyson directly stormed towards Paul and launched a barrage of vicious punches at the latter.

But as time passed, the age started to become visible and the legendary boxer started to lose the steam. By the end, the tables had completely turned, and Tyson was looking for survival rather than Jake Paul’s defeat. However, going toe-to-toe against a guy half your age when you are nearly 60 is a feat in itself and something that the Brooklyn native should be proud of.
