Ken Kober says Johnnie Taylor got aggressive and disorderly

It’s worth mentioning that in the later part of the clip, an officer can be seen with his gun drawn, which has become a point of concern among people. After the clip managed to get nationwide attention, FOP President Ken Kober said, “A lot of questions have come up as to why was his gun drawn. Well, Government Square has been a place where violent crimes have occurred. Officers are taking guns off of people at Government Square constantly”.

Kober further added that Taylor became “extremely aggressive and disorderly” after the officers engaged him in a conversation, highlighting the officer had called for backup in the clip. He even suggested that the officers didn’t do anything wrong, rather they showed remarkable restraint during the entire ordeal. Coming back to the gun situation, Kober claimed that was a regular procedure in situations like these. According to sources, both Taylor and Lee are facing charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

With the harrowing incident unfolding in Cincinnati, Jamel Herring seems to have been shocked to see the altercation escalate so violently. However, due process and investigations are underway by the CPD and Citizen Complaint Authority, so the reality of the situation should come out soon. What did you think about the ordeal?
