Athletic greats Mike Tyson and Arnold Schwarzenegger have made a solid reputation for themselves over the years. Both of them have been inducted into the Hall of Fame for their contribution to their respective fields. Take a look at an old photograph of the two legends together.

The picture shows ‘Iron Mike’ sitting with a nonchalant face, while Schwarzenegger is behind the former world heavyweight champion posing for a photograph. Despite this photograph, both the legends share a great camaraderie with each other. Interestingly, the ‘Austrian Oak’ once invited Tyson to his residence for a game of chess.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger invited Mike Tyson to his residence

The legendary strongman had invited Tyson to his residence for a friendly chess match. Chess is one of the many things the two have in common that keeps them interested. Henry Cejudo, an MMA fighter, was also invited to the former governor of California’s residence.

Cejudo even shared a post with images from that day on his Instagram. One of them had Tyson and “The Terminator” actor playing chess across from one another. Tyson is shown in another video from Cejudo’s post making two holes in a row while playing golf.

Similarities between Mike Tyson and Arnold Schwarzenegger 

Schwarzenegger and Tyson have a lot in common, which makes them comparable. They both began their journeys as athletes, but they are now quite different people from where they started. Tyson made a few movie appearances after he gave up competing in boxing; the most well-known of which is ‘The Hangover’ series. Currently, he hosts his own podcast named Hotboxin with Mike Tyson and, he even has a successful cannabis business.

Furthermore, even Schwarzenegger started from bodybuilding, and then he shifted toward Hollywood where he was seen in several successful movies like ‘The Terminator’ and ‘The Expendables’ series. Additionally, he was even elected as the governor of California.

Moreover, fans know that the two legends have a knack for reading and both are students of history, art, and philosophy.
