On 14 October, KSI will come face-to-face against his biggest challenge yet – Tommy Fury. The majority of the boxing community believes KSI is the underdog going into the fight. But KSI is confident he will emerge victorious and prove everyone wrong. Meanwhile, David Haye has come out with his pick for the much-anticipated bout. The former British boxer made his predictions while appearing in an interview on September 21.

While speaking to FightJoe, Haye picked KSI as the winner of the fight. He claimed Tommy Fury might have sparred against Tyson Fury behind closed doors. But he doesn’t have much experience in real matches. According to Haye, everyone is overestimating Tommy’s capabilities while downplaying KSI’s skills. Haye also claimed this gives KSI a massive advantage over Tommy. Moreover, when Haye’s clip made its way onto X (Twitter), fans could not decide if they agreed with the former boxer’s opinion.

Indecisive response to the prediction from David Haye

While some users agreed with Haye, others dismissed Haye by questioning his past predictions. The comment section of the Twitter post from Boxing Kingdom became a battleground for opposing sides.

One user claimed Haye’s predictions have proven wrong in the past. However, the user believes this one would be an exception because KSI is a different kind of fighter. Here, the user is referring to KSI’s fighting style, which has been labeled unusual. So, Tommy might have a hard time figuring out KSI during the fight.

Another user agreed with Haye’s prediction of the fight. According to this user, KSI will prove he is an elite fighter and would not struggle to defeat Tommy. The user went as far as to say KSI will flatline Tommy within 2 to 3 rounds. It’s worth noting that Jake Paul is considered a better fighter than KSI, but even he lost to Tommy in February. Jake landed some good shots on Tommy but never came close to knocking him out. So, if the user’s prediction comes to fruition, it will indeed be a massive upset.

The next user claimed Haye never picks any of the Furys as the winner, regardless of the opponent. The user seemed extremely confident Tommy would win the fight and explained it’s the safest bet so people can bet their houses.

Someone else brought up Haye’s prediction for the Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte bout. Haye was proven wrong in his prediction for picking Dillian. Here, the user is mocking Haye by referring to his past prediction.

Sharing similar opinions with the previous comment, this user claimed betting against Haye’s prediction would turn people into millionaires.

Despite all the predictions and speculations, only time can tell what the future holds for the two fighters. However, at the same time, all of these speculations are fueling the anticipation as the fight draws ever closer. Who do you think will win the fight between KSI and Tommy? Do you agree with Haye?
