Jake Paul isn’t satisfied with just fighting the former ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ Mike Tyson. He also wants Mike to duplicate the infamous Bite Fight incident during their clash. ‘The Problem Child’ Paul and ‘Iron’ Mike are slated to meet in the ring on Saturday, July 20 at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, live on Netflix.

However, ahead of their fight, which will most likely be a professional bout, Paul decided to appear in a podcast with the Thanalysis Show. Aiming to make a bag from the fight, Paul suggested he would be open to Mike Tyson biting his ear off as he did to Evander Holyfield in 1997. It cost Mike a penalty of $3 million, but Jake Paul thinks if Mike bites him, it would go viral.

Jake Paul thinks Evander Holyfield’s bitten-off ear is legendry

Speaking to NBA’s Thanasis Antetokounmpo during the podcast, Paul stated, “I would be down for him to bite my ear off. That s**t would go so viral.” Then Paul recollected the time when he met Evander Holyfield for the first time, claiming, “I was just looking at his ear, and the top his ear is just like [bitten] off. And it’s just legendary. I was like, bro, it’s crazy.”

Being one of the best marketers in the boxing scene, Paul knew the value of such an incident. Highlighting how much a true boxing fan would pay for Holyfield’s bitten-off ear, Paul claimed if Tyson bit off his ear – he would try to sell it.

“I would have him bite off my ear, then have my team pick that s**t up and put it in [an] art display and sell that s**t,” said Paul. While Paul might not be afraid of Mike’s bite, Tyson issued a scary statement recently.

Mike Tyson has a question for Paul

For years after his retirement, Mike has expressed his desire to get back into the squared circle. While there were some rumors of potential fights, nothing really had any ground to stand on. However, in March 2024, the boxing world was struck by the shocking news of Paul vs. Tyson, with both parties confessing to the same.

Even though everyone acknowledged Tyson’s ferocity at 57, seeing what Paul had done to other combat legends, fans were worried. Meanwhile, Tyson turned to X today, warning Paul about fighting him. Sharing a training clip of himself in the gym, Tyson asked, “You still wanna f*** with me?” Against Paul’s better judgment, it seems like it does!

Even though it was one of the darkest moments in Tyson’s life, and in boxing, for that matter, Jake Paul wants to capitalize on the virality of the Bite Fight incident. What do you think? Should Mike Tyson bite off Paul’s ear? Let us know in the comments section below!
