Popular Netflix show ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ took the internet by storm when it was released in 2020. It is based on the 1983 novel of the same name written by Walter Tevis. It is based on a female chess player who strives to become the greatest chess player in the world. Audiences around the world loved the show, however, a famous internet celebrity thinks differently about it. 

Former kickboxer Andrew Tate recently appeared on a podcast hosted by Anthony Pompliano. For reference, Tate’s father, Emory Tate, was a chess master, which eventually made his son interested in the game. As the episode progressed, the host asked Tate whether he has watched the Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit. 

To which Tate replied, “I haven’t watched it because I believe it’s feminist Hollywood garbage and it’s propagating the demise of masculinity amongst the population. So sorry to give you a Alex Jones answer, but the answer is no. Because it’s just feminist garbage, and it ain’t true.”

He further added, “I believe that because that’s what’s happening. I mean, there are talented female players but they are not nearly as talented as the man overall. They are not nearly as good as the men overall. I think the best female in the world is like number 50 in the world. If you incorporate men and I believe that Hollywood takes every single chance it can to empower females to the point of reducing men’s ability to look like a man.”

Apparently, Tate explained that he did not watch the show as it is feminist Hollywood garbage. He feels that it is a show used to promote feminism and that it does not match reality.  

How did Andrew Tate become famous?

Tate is a retired kickboxer, and now he indulges himself in podcasts on YouTube. He has been making a buzz on the internet over his controversial remarks. Additionally, Top G is a three-time ISKA champion, but his million-dollar empire was not established because of kickboxing. Tate owns a variety of businesses and owns casinos in Romania, which are the major contributors to his wealth and net worth. 

Furthermore, Top G also owns a successful webcam business that took off after 2015. Currently, he is focused on his latest project, Hustlers University. All of this has aided in the opulent lifestyle that he flaunts on his social media. His whole persona is garnered toward attracting attention from the world, and it has served him well to the point where he can capitalize on his infamy and add to an already gargantuan empire.
