He is drawing a map of success for the southpaw gun Davis, who held different belts in the three weight classes. The Baltimore boxer is among the most devastating champions in the current boxing world but never went to unify titles at one weight class.

Floyd Mayweather reveals what he will do when Gervonta Davis becomes the undisputed champion

Floyd Mayweather, during an interaction with FightHype, said, “The night that he [Tank] won all belts guess what I’m gonna tell them. You get three of them back.”

According to Mayweather, this is called “Divide and Conquer.” Taking his own example, he explained that critics target him for not reigning as an undisputed champion at any weight class. However, Mayweather believed that he was in a better position than holding the coveted title.

“I had three belts at one weight class and two at another. I had five belts at one time. So a lot of time when the writers write Floyd was never undisputed champion. I tell him guess what! Remember this, had the WBC in the WBA at waterway at welterweight than I beat Pacquiao for the WBO, and don’t forget, I had just before that I put Canelo for the WBC and the WBA junior middleweight. So I remember I had five belts at once,” Mayweather added.

Furthermore, he backed his claim by putting forth the fact that he made record-breaking numbers.
