Whether it was his “Fabulous chin…very effective defense…menacing power punches…to landing one of the best right hands he has ever thrown to knock Charlo down,” Lampley told the reporters. Jim Lampley: From a five-year-long hiatus to Canelo-Charlo ringside

Lampley last appeared in the boxing scene back in December 2018 and had to leave because HBO Boxing ended operations. After his exit from the boxing world, Lampley taught at the University of North Carolina. The Subject? ‘The Evolution of Storytelling in American News Media.’ As complicated as the name of the course sounds, it’s even more stressful, claimed Lampley, as per a report from Boxing News.
