Jake Paul is a relentless proponent of some good old-fashioned drama. As such, he is known for taking brutal swipes at potential opponents. In fact, his recent victim is his upcoming opponent Hasim Rahman Jr. Unsurprisingly, in true Jake Paul fashion, he took a dig at Rahman Jr’s relationship with his father.

Recently, Paul was being interviewed after his presser on July 12, 2022. This was the official presser for his upcoming bout with Rahman Jr. In conversation, the reporter asked him about his reaction to meeting Rahman Jr’s father, the former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman. Further, the reporter asked, “Does that make any difference to you? Having him across the table.”

Paul hilariously remarked that he found it cute that Rahman Jr’s father accompanied. He also mentioned, “He’s going to hold his son’s hand into the ring. Hold his hand along this process. You know, it’s bring your kid to work day. You know he can’t do this by himself. He needs his daddy.”

He also shared his thoughts on Rahman Sr.’s relationship with his son. Paul said, “It’s embarrassing like his own dad was talking sh*t about him. So I don’t know, the whole thing was a bunch of debauchery. It’s just like talking to a wall of stupidity, that whole family.”

Additionally, when asked about facing his former sparring partner, Paul stated that it was a common occurrence. He even took examples of Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez and Dillian Whyte vs Tyson Fury.
