 Gervonta Davis is a household name in the boxing world. The Baltimore Boxer is known for his explosive and agile fighting style in the ring. He will be in the ring with Ryan Garcia on April 15th in one of the most anticipated lightweight matchups in the boxing world. The ‘Tank’ Davis last fought Hector Luis Garcia in January, winning the fight via ninth-round knockout. Davis has held numerous titles in three weight classes. He is undefeated in his career, and his boxing record is 28 wins and 26 knockouts.

In a recent interview, Davis shared his thoughts on Adrien Broner’s upcoming fight and who he thinks Broner should fight next.

In an interview with ESNEWS, Davis was candid about whom he would like Broner to fight. The interviewer asked if he had any words for Adrien Broner ahead of his fight with Micheal William Jr on February 25th.  Davis responded, “I wish he would fight Redkach.”

The interviewer recalled when Davis sparred with Ivan Redkach, dropped the Ukrainian fighter down, and jumped out of the ring because he didn’t want to hurt him. Adrien Broner and Ivan Redkach were supposed to fight on February 18, but ‘El Terrible’ withdrew from the fight.

Broner has been out of the ring since his last bout with Jovanie Santiago in 2020. He will be making a comeback in the ring on April 25th. He is eager and determined to end his boxing journey on the top.

Davis’s candid views on Garcia.

In the interview, Davis talked about what he thinks of Garcia and opened up about his upcoming fight.

A lot of people don’t know how big it is until it happens. I just gotta put in the work and be ready.” said the Tank.

Furthermore,  he discussed Garcia as a fighter and appreciated ‘KingRy’.

Davis said,He’s pretty good, he’s one of the top guys, he gotta be doing something right.” 

Gervonta’s humble and genuine respect for Garcia displays his personality outside the ring.

Both of these wrecking forces, at the top of their division, will risk their undefeated records for this fight. The fight’s winner will be the number one contender for Devin Haney’s undisputed lightweight titles.
